Why is the Applications list in 0patch Console empty?

Mitja Kolsek -

The Applications list remains empty until you launch at least one application that 0patch has a micropatch for. Often there is no such application installed on a fully updated Windows system (except when we have a micropatch for a Windows 0day) but the list can also be filled with other apps such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader or many others we write micropatches for.

You can follow the instructions in article Test How 0patch Works to install some vulnerable applications and see how micropatches get applied to them - as a result, these vulnerable applications will appear in the Applications list.
